I am currently creating a basic chess game using Java. In order to show off the project easier, I thought I would in some way or another embed it into an HTML page. As applets are no longer supported or viable, I was looking into Java to JS transpilers, with the hope of being able to transpile into JS and just imbed that into the HTML. I have not been able to find out though if there are any transpilers that support java swing, which I am using to create the GUI. I know it would probably be easier to just create the entire game in JS, but I trying to practice my Java with this project, nor do I know very much JS. Is there any way to transpile swing into JS and if so, is this even a viable approach?
