I'm not able to send the coins in fractions or float. For example I can't send 100.1111 coins but only 100 coins. i. e. whole number.

Output while transacting in fractions/ float values: transact to Try.transfer errored: Error encoding arguments: Error: invalid number value (arg=undefined, type="number", value=100.88888888)

Also, it's showing the total supply: 0: uint256: 100000000000000000

There is no decimal point.

Just use integers. This is one reason contracts work in Wei instead of Ether. 1 Ether = 10^18 Wei.Adam Kipnis
Can you give some sample code?Amey Bansod

I'm not sure why this question is so old yet unanswered but if you still need help, I'll do my best to provide it.

Going off of your code:

// 'TRY Token' token contract
//
// Symbol      : TRY
// Name        : TRY COIN
// Total supply: 1,000,000,000
// Decimals    : 8

There is a total supply of 1,000,000,000 units of TRY tokens and TRY tokens have 8 decimal places. Now why do I say units instead of tokens? It's because a single Token is composed of 10^Decimals units of that token. You seem to understand this as in your constructor you write:

_totalSupply = 1000000000 * 10**uint(decimals);

The line above creates 100,000,000,000,000,000 units of TRY. In order to send 10 TRY to someone you need to send 10 * 10^8 (1,000,000,000) units.
