PHP - Switch Desktop to Mobile & Mobile to Desktop

I'm trying to make a Desktop to Mobile switch for my website, but I can't really get it to work.

This code (got it from internet) works, but it only redirect me to the mobile site...

That's one really ugly regex. Rather then force the user down a particular route, wouldn't it make more sense to ask them what they want to do (by all means prompt if you think it's a mobile on the desktop site or vice versa. - symcbean
If I understand you right, I should make a first page asking the user if they want to go to Desktop or Mobile site? - Hampe
It's a simple solution - or you could just inject an option to chose on the current page if you think they're on he wrong site (and have not yet set a choice cookie). - symcbean
Well, I dont really know which is the best. I have to think about is. Otherwise they're only option is to use the zoom.. - Hampe

If the code above switches you to the mobile site if you are on the desktop site, then placing the following on the mobile site will direct you back to the desktop site if it is not a mobile device:

I'd use a third party mobile detection package, which you can update as mobile phones, os versions change and what not.

And now you can use an anchor tag together with $link[0] to get the text for it (To Mobile) and $link[1] to get the link.

Then, including the style won't be very hard. Otherwise, if you're simply using the same basic page, just different CSS - then include the Mobile CSS into the header if ?force=mobile is true.

EDIT: I should add: since the above is a very small if/elseif statement, a Switch statement isn't really necessary.
