I need help with an external hard drive (4TB from seagate) that im working on it lately basically it includes 7 files in addition to default hard drive files each file of the 7 is about 500GB what's wrong with these files are each one have no name extension windows just show file in the file type column im required to recover the data inside I tried to recover it with autopsy and it appears that the hard drive includes much more files and shows alot of folders and media files different kinds of pictures and videos (mp3 mp4 jpg etc..) and I can see all the names of folders and files it seems correct but the problem here when I restore those files into my pc all of the files are corrupted and I cannot view them or see a thumbnail basically nothing my guess is that those large files I talked about seems like an encrypted folders with unknown source of encryption or maybe im just doing something wrong has anyone has an idea of what's going on with this mysterious problem or encountered such a thing before I will appreciate your help on this one Thank you foe reading my question and hope to find an answer soon enough
