after destroying a few USB ports on my computer i decided i needed USB isolation from my USBASP ISP AVR Programmer, i purchased one of these, but where the power is working and is isolated, my computer is not finding the ISP AVR Programmer. any suggestions on a better solution. im wondering if i should just make an optocoupler photodiode circuit to isolate the serial wires after the programmer rather than trying to isolate the USB that likely runs at a much higher frequency.
