How to install JDK-11

Question

I downloaded the "jdk-11.0.12_windows-x64_bin" and tried to install it. But my laptop is asking a program to run the JDK-11 installation program. I installed lots of programs but this is the first time that I face a problem. I think I need another program to run it. Do anybody knows the program I need?

I installed Java on a lot of PCs, and I never needed a 3rd party program to install it. Where did you download the installer? I would recommend downloading the prebuild binaries from adoptium.net — Turing85
If you're using an installer, and the installer wants to (or at least can) install to a protected location, then your OS should be asking for confirmation (e.g., Windows asking for admin privileges). That's as designed. But there is no need for any 3rd-party software. Could you provide a step-by-step process to replicate the problem (i.e., a minimal reproducible example)? — Slaw
