What are the methods of blurring the background in all apps in xubuntu(ubuntu with xfce desktop environment)?

Question

I used picom to do it but it only made my windows transparent and not blurry :( Also i am using the macOS theme and i am wondering if that could have messed it up or something.

It would be nice to have a blurry background like macOS does.
