Thanks for taking the time to take a look at this issue.

I have a client that wanted to purchase the URL/domain name themselves and I had already began the construction process. We currently have a completed website, created using WordPress, hosted on host gator, as a sub-domain to my primary account. My thought process being, I purchase a host gator plan with unlimited domains, and future projects can be created using the same account, and the clients can point their preferred URLs to the sites.

However, I do not know how to point their site to my subdomain. I do know that they would need to point their URL to the name-server's of my site. The only name-servers I am able to find are for my primary domain. I do not want their site pointed to my primary domain, I need it to access the site I have created on the subdomain.

Example:

My primary domain: primary.com

My Subdomain : sub.primary.com

Their site: theirsite.com

I need theirsite.com to display the site located at sub.primary.com

I also need the URL bar to remain theirsite.com/whateverpage NOT sub.primary.com/whateverpage

I don't know if this is possible, is it? If not, can anyone give me any recommendations on how I can go about migrating the site to be the primary domain, so that I could point their site directly to the name servers and not have to worry about the whole subdomain thing. Or any recommendations in general as to how to accomplish this goal.

All information is appreciated. Thank you!
