My flutter application throws this exception in runtime.

MissingPluginException(No implementation found for method getTemporaryDirectory on channel plugins.flutter.io/path_provider)

main.dart

Directory tp = await getTemporaryDirectory();

File tempFile = File('${tp.path}/flutter.pdf');

ByteData bd = await rootBundle.load('assets/flutter.pdf');

tempFile=await tempFile.writeAsBytes(bd.buffer.asUint8List(), flush: true);

My similar problem (MissingPluginException) occured only with the release build. It was solved by this line:

proguardFiles getDefaultProguardFile('proguard-android-optimize.txt'),'proguard-rules.pro'

according to https://developer.android.com/studio/build/shrink-code#enable
