When the token type is "at+jwt" we get the error in the validation:

org.springframework.security.oauth2.server.resource.InvalidBearerTokenException: An error occurred while attempting to decode the Jwt: JOSE header "typ" (type) "at+jwt" not allowed at This is only happening with version of spring boot version greater than 2.2.7 Do you have any idea how to set the allowed token types in the validation?

I had the same problem. I solved this with dependency changes:

<dependency>
    <groupId>org.springframework.security</groupId>
    <artifactId>spring-security-oauth2-jose</artifactId>
    <exclusions>
        <exclusion>
            <groupId>com.nimbusds</groupId>
            <artifactId>nimbus-jose-jwt</artifactId>
        </exclusion>
    </exclusions>
</dependency>

<dependency>
    <groupId>com.nimbusds</groupId>
    <artifactId>nimbus-jose-jwt</artifactId>
    <version>7.9</version>
</dependency>

The problem is that in version 8+, a new DefaultJOSEObjectTypeVerifier class has appeared in сommit https://bitbucket.org/connect2id/nimbus-jose-jwt/commits/ee6aec33c6349ebc85de37f4b76da7f1feeb0ee5, which checks the allowed types. Type "at+jwt" must be added separately.
