I recently updated my electronJS app to a higher version together with electron-builder. I have no issues running the app with "npm start", however when I try to build it using electron-builder I get the following error when running "npm run dist":

$ npm run dist

[email protected] dist C:\Projects\myapp build

'build' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. npm ERR! code ELIFECYCLE npm ERR! errno 1 npm ERR! [email protected] dist: build npm ERR! Exit status 1 npm ERR! npm ERR! Failed at the [email protected] dist script. npm ERR! This is probably not a problem with npm. There is likely additional logging output above.

After updating I had missed the following in package.json:

"scripts": {
  "pack": "electron-builder --dir",
  "dist": "electron-builder"
}

according to this: https://www.npmjs.com/package/electron-builder
