Is it possible to add vuetify inputs to vuetify table?

The only way that I found to add data to a table is by using JSON content.

Is it possible to overide/config vuetify so it adds data to the table like Material Design does?

This is how I call my table

<template>
  <v-data-table
    :headers="headers"
    :items="desserts"
    :items-per-page="5"
    class="elevation-1"
  ></v-data-table>
</template>

This is how I add Data to my table

<script>
  export default {
    data () {
      return {
        headers: [
          {
            text: 'Dessert (100g serving)',
            align: 'left',
            sortable: false,
            value: 'name',
          },
          { text: 'Calories', value: 'calories' },
          { text: 'Fat (g)', value: 'fat' },
          { text: 'Carbs (g)', value: 'carbs' },
          { text: 'Protein (g)', value: 'protein' },
          { text: 'Iron (%)', value: 'iron' },
        ],
        desserts: [
          {
            name: 'Frozen Yogurt',

It is possible to add vuetify inputs(v-text-field component) to data table, you can use v-slot:body to override the table content

working codepen here: https://codepen.io/chansv/pen/vYYJaME?&editable=true&editors=101

<div id="app">
  <v-app id="inspire">
    <v-data-table
      :headers="headers"
      :items="desserts"
      :items-per-page="5"
      class="elevation-1"
    >
      <template v-slot:body="{ items }">
          <tbody>
            <tr v-for="item in items" :key="item.name">
              <td>
                <v-text-field
                  v-model="item.name"></v-text-field>
              </td>
              <td>{{ item.calories }}</td>
              <td>{{ item.fat }}</td>
              <td>{{ item.carbs }}</td>
              <td>{{ item.protein }}</td>
              <td>{{ item.iron }}</td>
