I'm new to the Bot Framework so I'm sorry if this is basic, but I'm trying to send a Proactive message to the user start a conversation. I'm using the below sample:

This works perfectly but what I'd like to do is start a dialog from this point instead of just sending back some text to the user. Is this possible? Here is the code from the sample

What do you want the proactive message to be sent in response to? That is to say, what triggers it? - Kyle Delaney

Sorry yes I am still working on this - but I ended up figuring this out. An Azure Function will be calling my NotifyController which will have a method that now starts the conversation with a dialog. I'll post the solution for others. Thanks so much. - Ryan
this._Dialog at dialogSet.Add(this._Dialog); I am not able to see _Dialog as a dependency or function input, suggest use. @Ryan - Amit Kp

I ended up figuring this out - here is what I did:

In my NotifyController, I start the conversation like this
