Getting “URL Blocked by whitelist” on ionic not working at all even with cordova plugin installed

I've tried everything, or at least, that's what i think. Here's what i've tried so far:

  • Installed whitelist plugin

  • config the config.xml(code below of what i did).

  • remove and add the android platform again

  • i've looked the whole internet and nothing(same "solutions" but none of them has worked for me)..

  • added the Content Security Police on index.html

By default, navigations only allowed to file:// URLs. To allow others URLs, you must add tags to your config.xml as follows:

<allow-navigation href="http://*/*" />
<allow-navigation href="https://*/*" />
<allow-navigation href="data:*" />

You can add any specific URL in href. Please find more details here https://cordova.apache.org/docs/en/latest/reference/cordova-plugin-whitelist/

CORS is being enforced.

http://178.128.183.171/api/articles/subscribed goes to a login page which is seriously insecure.

A dirty fix would be ionic cordova plugin rm cordova-plugin-ionic-webview (not advised at all).

But as of of iOS 12 you will be forced to be CORS compliant.
