Getting the below internal error message when Updating the Maven Project (Right click on Project->Maven->Update Project) in Eclipse

The error message is basically pointing to the IBM plugin within eclipse

What could be the issue?

Went on to the root folder of Eclipse and entered the command eclipse.exe -clean

This cleaned up all the plugins and downloaded again! The error message upon "Updating Maven Project" disappeared!
