org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: Cannot open connection - Oracle / Tomcat / localhost

Question

I am writing a simple Hibernate program with Oracle as a database.
I am facing this error and I am not able to get the solution despite many trials.
I have added all hibernate jars & Oracle(ojdbc14.jar)
I have a schema as "test" in Oracle database
The username & password for Oracle is system

I have created the following files:

Student.java - POJO class with fields as rollno, name, address & setters/getters
Student.hbm.xml - Mapping file
Student.cfg.xml - Hibernate Configuration file
Test.java - Driver class

Student.cfg.xml:

Property for username & password is incorrect in Student.cfg.xml, updated as "connection.username" & "connection.password" as below :-

    <property name = "connection.username">system</property>
    <property name = "connection.password">system</property>
