I am trying to connect a ESP8266-01 that I had for a while to my Arduino UNO r3. Using the ESP8266 is new to me. I used this site as a reference.
My connection as follows:
Arduino -> ESP8266
TX -> RX
RX -> TX
5V -> Resistor -> VCC, CH_PD
GND -> GND
I am trying to do a quick test to connect to the ESP8266
void setup() {
// put your setup code here, to run once:
Serial2.begin(9600);
Serial.begin(115200);
}
void loop() {
while(Serial2.available()) Serial.write(Serial2.read());
while(Serial.available()) Serial2.write(Serial.read());
}
I get this error:
