leaflet not working with shiny

Question

I was trying to construct a simple app using Shiny and Leaflets to plot some locations.

First I've tried locally the Leaflet plot and it worked, but when using it with Shiny I've got the following error

ERROR: argument is not interpretable as logical

I've thought I've done something wrong so I went back to the basics and try to run the example app in the Leaflet website with the same result. I've tried to run it as a single file (app.R) using the runApp() command and also tried separating the server.R and ui.R with the same result.

I've re-installed leaflet, shiny and still the same.

Any idea of what might be going on?

can you post an example of the code and data you're using that generates the error? — tospig
also, what version of R? The example leaflet app you've linked to works fine for me — tospig
Hi tospig, thanks for replying. The code is exactly the same as the example leaflet app. My R version is "fire safety" 3.2.2, I've updated the post with the details — comendeiro

I've managed to make it work when I updated to the latest version of R, the 3.2.3
