.htaccess

AddType text/css .css
AddType text/javascript .js

the node.js code is in the root directory, the html and css are in /public subdir. Every time I load the side I get: Resource interpreted as Stylesheet but transferred with MIME type text/html: "http://localhost:3000/css/app.css".

How can I fix that?

var express = require('express'),
    app = express(),
    port = process.env.PORT || 3000,
    path = require('path');

app.use('/public', express.static('public'));
app.use('/', function (req, res) {
    res.sendfile(path.join(__dirname + '/index.html'));
});
app.listen(port);

console.log('Server started at http://localhost:%s/', port);

So I rewrote my code like so, and that worked. It only changed when I used the express.static for the public sub url.
