How to get gcm data from HTTP gcm server?

Question

I am using GCM for push messages but not able to extract data from received notification.

Here is my code :

In onHandleIntent(Intent intent)

I am doing

 Bundle extra = intent.getExtras();

and receiving

Bundle[{message=yes, android...}]

and

 public void onReceive(Context context, Intent intent) {
    // Explicitly specify that GcmIntentService will handle the intent.
    ComponentName comp = new ComponentName(context.getPackageName(),
            GcmIntentService.class.getName());
    // Start the service, keeping the device awake while it is launching.

  }

in gcm broadcast receiver i want to get that message in string

How can i do this ?

Your message is included in the intent. Try this:

String msg = intent.getStringExtra("message");
// msg should be "yes"
