I have this source code and it should read a NDEF nfc tag. Except when a tag is scanned it doesn't do anything. Any ideas ?
The code compiles and there is no errors.
It doesn't look like the function protected void onNewIntent(Intent intent) is run.

. If it is not open, then this will not work and you have to provide what you're doing in the manifest file of your application. – Daneo
