I recorded the input from mic to sample.wav. But it plays too fast. 10 secs file in 3 secs.

Please explain where it goes wrong.

byteRate is for creating the wav file header.

I found solution for above problem. For AudioFormat.CHANNEL_IN_MONO, channel has to be 1. For AudioFormat.CHANNEL_IN_STEREO, channel has to be 2.

int channels = 1;
long byteRate = RECORDER_BPP * RECORDER_SAMPLERATE * channels / 8;

Now it works fine.
