i am using the jpa repository for the custom query. but i am getting the error

I think the query should be select e FROM Login e WHERE e.loginId =(:loginId) and e.password=(:password) – TheSprinter
this is not working – dishank goyal
there is no field called login_id in entity, so either use login_name or id in place of login_id in the query – TheSprinter

The error message is indicating that there is a problem with the syntax of the JPA query. Try removing the parentheses around the the parameters and make sure e.login_id and e.password are the attribute names from the entity class, Login (not the database column names).

You dont need to use custom query(@Query(...))

use method findByLogin_nameAndPassword(String login_name, String password); instead

LoginServiceImpl should be an implementation of Service interface , but you used it as repository and kept in service package, this is a wrong way of structuring code base.

The annotation @Service should be annoted to the service implementation class and not the interface.
