I am getting error while running a modified version of Wordcount program (added mapper logic to seperate out symbols from words).
Error: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Class wcount.WordCount$TokenizerMapper
OS: HortonWorks Sandbox hosting 2.6 Hadoop version Here is what I did -
- Modified Wordcount.java to introduce mapper logic
- Compiled the Wordcount.java using command
javac -classpath /home/test_user/jars/commons-cli-1.2.jar:/home/test_user/jars/hadoop-common-2.6.0.2.2.0.0-2041.jar:/home/test_user/jars/hadoop-mapreduce-client-core-2.6.0.2.2.0.0-2041.jar -d /home/test_user/hadoopjar/wordcountclass -Xlint:deprecation WordCount.java
Created WordCount.jar using
jar cvf wordcount.jar wcount
(where wcount is the folder having all 3 classess (wordcount, tokenizer and intsumreducer). here is what jar file looks likewcount wcount/WordCount.class wcount/WordCount$TokenizerMapper.class wcount/WordCount$intsumreducer.class
Ran the it using command -
hadoop jar wordcount.jar WordCount /home/user/test_user/wordcount/wordcount.txt /home/user/test_user/wordcount/out8
it errors out after trying to run Map job Error: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Class wcount.WordCount$TokenizerMapper
